Please read carefully before making a reservation. All rental rates displayed on our website, social media, or other platforms are estimated prices and may change at any time based on operational conditions, vehicle availability, and market demand.

⚠️ General Rental Pricing Terms

Car rental prices vary depending on:

• Type of vehicle

• Rental duration

• Travel route

• Type of service (with driver or self-drive)

Rates do not include:

• Overtime charges

• Fuel, toll fees, parking, and entry tickets to destinations

• Accommodation for the driver (for overnight trips)

• Vehicle delivery/pick-up fees outside our standard service area for self-drive rentals

🧾 Rental Time is Calculated by Date, Not by Hour

All rentals are based on calendar dates, not a 24-hour cycle.

Example:
Pick-up: October 1 at 09:00
Return: October 2 at 08:00
→ Still counted as 2 days of rental, not 1 day.

This rule applies to both self-drive and with driver services.

🕓 Rental Day & Time Explanation

📅 Rental Period = Number of Calendar Days

At ICAN Transport, we calculate by date, not by the number of hours used.

Example:
Rental from October 11 to October 14:

• 11 = Day 1

• 12 = Day 2

• 13 = Day 3

• 14 = Day 4

→ Counted as 4 full days, even if usage starts in the afternoon or evening.

⏰ Return Time

The latest return time on the final day is 11:00 PM (23:00).

Example:
Rental starts October 11 at 08:00 for 3 days → Must return by October 13 at 23:00.
Returning on October 14 = subject to 1 extra day charge.

🔁 What If You Return the Car Late?

• Delay < 2 hours → Tolerated if coordinated in advance

• Delay > 2 hours without notice → Charged overtime or an additional rental day

🚗 With Driver Rental Terms

• Maximum daily usage: 12 hours

• Driver working hours counted from the pickup/start time

• Extra usage beyond 12 hours = overtime charges apply

💰 Overtime Fee: IDR 50,000 – 200,000/hour

Varies depending on vehicle type:

• Standard cars (Avanza/Xenia): IDR 50,000/hour

• Premium units (Alphard, Fortuner, Hiace Luxury): IDR 150,000–200,000/hour
  → Fee confirmed during reservation

🔑 Self-Drive Rental Terms

• Minimum rental: 2 consecutive days

• Document & identity verification required

• Deposit: IDR 1,500,000 – 5,000,000, depending on the unit

• Car must be returned in the same condition (fuel, cleanliness, physical condition)

• Delivery/pick-up fees based on distance between renter’s location and our pool/office

🚘 One-Way Car Rental Terms (Different Province Pick-up & Return)

For pick-up and drop-off in different provinces, a one-way rental fee will apply.
This additional charge covers the cost of returning the vehicle to our base or relocating it to the next renter’s location.

✅ Minimum rental duration for one-way inter-province usage is 7 days.
We do not accept one-way rentals for usage under 7 days due to operational logistics.

Please confirm your route and drop-off location in advance so we can calculate the applicable one-way fee, which varies depending on distance and location.

💬 “Starting From” Pricing & Flexibility

“Starting from” rates apply to:

• Economy units in specific categories (LCGC, city cars)

• Self-drive, inner-city use, and weekday rentals

Prices may vary based on:

• Peak seasons (Eid, Christmas, New Year)

• Out-of-town or remote area routes (mountains, rural villages)

• Special requests (different city drop-off, wedding cars, event use)

📲 Reservation, Down Payment & Price Confirmation

• Prices are only final once all rental details are confirmed

• Down payment (DP) is required to secure the unit and schedule

• Without a DP, availability cannot be guaranteed

• Sudden changes (schedule, duration, location) may affect the final price

📄 Additional Conditions

• Promotions apply for specific periods only and cannot be combined with other offers

• Vehicles are prohibited from being used for:

  • Racing or extreme activities

  • Illegal purposes

  • Towing/pushing other vehicles

• Renters are responsible for cleanliness and vehicle condition

• Damages due to negligence will be charged to the renter

🚦 Traffic Law Compliance

Renters are fully responsible for obeying all traffic laws during the rental period, including but not limited to:

• Wearing seatbelts while driving

• Following the odd-even plate rule (Jakarta & other cities)

• Avoiding violations captured by ETLE (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement) or other traffic enforcement systems

📌 Any traffic violations, intentional or accidental, are the sole responsibility of the renter, including payment of fines, admin fees, and other penalties.
